- Young guns to lead Raine & Horne real estate services in East Gosford region
Superbrand Raine & Horne has recommitted to delivering its industry-leading real estate services to the Central Coast, with the launch of a new office at East Gosford.
Led by one of Central Coast real estate’s foremost husband and wife teams, Geoff and Sue Tilden, Raine & Horne East Gosford’s leadership team will also include a former Westpac People & Culture Consultant Katie Tilden and marketing specialist, Kristian Bingham, who also enjoyed a stint in real estate with Raine & Horne Mosman in Sydney.
Mr Bingham has a Bachelor of Marketing from the Queensland University of Technology and Ms Tilden has a Masters of Human Resource Management and Industrial Relations from Sydney University. Ms Tilden was recently named Raine & Horne’s 2018 National Rookie of the Year for Property Management, and she will lead the property management team at East Gosford, with Mr Bingham responsible for sales.
Next generation leading the way in real estate
Geoff and Susan Tilden launched Raine & Horne Gosford in 2011 after a 20-year stint with another real estate firm. Mr Tilden said the Gosford firm’s growth drove the decision to establish a second office in the East Gosford region.
“We’ve been consistently focused on expanding our rent roll for many years now, and with Katie and Kristian joining the business it gave us the opportunity to establish an office in East Gosford to better service that region,” Mr Tilden explained.
Mrs Tilden added, “With Geoff running sales at Gosford, and me overseeing property management, it would have been a stretch to open another office. We’ve seen too many businesses get into trouble where principals spread themselves too thin.
“We can’t duplicate ourselves, but by bringing Katie and Kristian into the business means we now can expand.”
Raine & Horne amplifies its brand with social media platform
Mr Bingham believes the Raine & Horne brand is highly trusted and the history associated with Raine & Horne, which opened for business in 1883, is central to the decision to open an office at East Gosford.
“It’s the trust and the equity the brand has built over the last 135 years that ensures vendors call us into an appraisal meeting when they decide to sell their house. The history of the company is unique and very significant to us.”
“When people on the Central Coast think ‘real estate’ they immediately think of Raine & Horne.”
Katie Tilden, who bought her first investment property just after leaving university, adds, “The fact that family business principals are at the core of Raine & Horne, and the fact that the Raine family is still at the helm after 135 years, really resonates with our family.”
“The Raine & Horne brand generates a lot of goodwill within our community and we are an active part of numerous clubs and charities.”
