Semaphore real estate agent Kate Smith, Principal of Raine & Horne Semaphore makes the list in 26th place
Kate Smith, Principal of Raine & Horne Semaphore has been named one of Australia’s leading real estate sales agents in a national list of top performing female real estate brands.
Ms Smith, who was recently named as Raine & Horne’s 2018 Top Salesperson (Principal) Number of Sales category has secured position 26 in the Real Estate Business (REB) Top 50 Women in Real Estate 2018 ranking.
“This is a massive improvement on Kate’s result two years ago when she came in 50th,” said James Trimble, General Manager, SA, Raine & Horne.
“Success is perpetual for Kate who is a former professional basketballer. When you have the sporting pedigree that Kate has, achieving 50th isn’t bad, but 26th is much better.
“Knowing how Kate strives for perfection on behalf of her clients, I won’t bet against her making it to first place down the track.
“Kate never stops, never stands still and is always thinking how she can do better for her clients. She also has a strong commitment to supporting the local Semaphore community that keeps her name up in lights in her region, and the appraisals and listings flowing.”
The REB list ranks female real estate agents across Australia according to a range of metrics, including total sales volume, total number of deals and average sales price.
REB editor Tim Neary said there were some surprises in this year’s ranking, and that stats reveal some interesting new trends emerging across the most active markets in the country.
“It is the foremost ranking of female agents in Australia. Those who make the prestigious list are emulated, sought-after and held in the highest esteem, even by competitors who are chasing their tails,” said Mr Neary.
“It tells of a group of female agents separating themselves from the pack by being true business leaders in the industry — in the face of some seriously challenging headwinds.”
The data collected for the REB Top 50 Women in Real Estate 2018 was verified by a senior member of the agency or network, or the office’s accountant.
