- The Superbrand will add three more offices to its rapidly expanding group to the city’s north, inner west and further west.
Melbourne, Victoria (14 September 2021) With Melbourne forced to deal with hundreds of days in lockdown over the last 18 months, Superbrand Raine & Horne has continued to expand its office network exponentially.
Over the last 12 months, Raine & Horne has added offices in Yarraville, Werribee, Tarneit, Dallas, and Diggers Rest.
Randolph Clements, Managing Director, Raine & Horne Victoria, said, “While others have got bogged down in the negativity of the lockdowns, we’ve seen the pandemic period as an opportunity to keep expanding and preparing for the better times ahead.
“Our shrewd new principals are using the lockdowns to fit out their new offices in readiness to pounce on the market once restrictions lift.
“They are also wisely using the time to familiarise themselves with our excellent suite of technology services such as social media marketing platform Amplify, our digital proposal platform DigiKitPlus and our market-leading CRM CompassPlus.”
As part of the expansion, the Superbrand also launched Raine & Horne Land Victoria in Port Melbourne.
Raine & Horne Land Victoria is a specialist land sales agency that deals exclusively with development sites and blocks of land. “It operates across the state but is specifically focussed on the residential development markets from Pakenham to Clyde, right across to Melton, Rockbank, and Tarneit,” said Mr Clements.
“These six new offices are only the start of our latest expansion push, and we have at least three more offices set to open before Christmas.
“While we’re in expansion mode, we’re not trying to put an office on every corner like our competitors. We are very selective and, in some cases, have three or four independents or principals from other networks approaching us to join.
“We are carefully making decisions based on who is the best fit for the reputation of our brand.
“That said, we are looking to expand in the city’s eastern suburbs with the right person.”
Rita Galati, Director, Raine & Horne Yarraville, who shifted to the Superbrand from another group this year, agreed with Mr Clements that the lockdown period had given her time to acquaint herself with Amplify, DigiKitPlus and CompassPlus.
“As much as it’s been frustrating, it’s given me time to rebrand the offices and literally, for the last month, I have been getting familiar with the systems.
“We had an induction when we came across, which was great. However, the lockdown has really given me time to explore how Amplify and DigiKitPlus work. I have also been watching all Raine & Horne’s training webinars about all the products.
“Lockdown has given me time to focus on my business and immerse myself in the Raine & Horne processes.”
Ms Galati said that she decided to move to Raine & Horne after meeting Mr Clements.
“Randolph’s approach is very personable, and he regularly checks in to see how I’m going. Emily Berezdecky, Group Manager at Raine & Horne Corporate Victoria, has also been a huge help.
“Apart from being personable, Randolph seeks the input of all the Principals when making major decisions for the Group in Victoria. While as Managing Director, Randolph ultimately makes the decision, it’s great to feel part of the journey.
“I’m also excited about the growth of Raine & Horne in Victoria and all the new offices as it builds the strength of our brand and generates more referral business between offices."
Rajeev Mehta, Director of Raine & Horne Werribee, also moved to Rane & Horne from the same group as Ms Galati.
“I worked in real estate sales for three years and before that was in hospitality in the Gisborne area where I met Randolph and Ken Grech, Director of Raine & Horne Gisborne,” said Mr Mehta, who launched his new office this month.
“Ever since I started in real estate, I wanted to open my own office, and when the time arrived to make a move, Randolph was the first person who came to mind who could help that dream become a reality.
“I was impressed with Raine & Horne’s products such as Amplify and DigiKitPlus. I checked the offerings of the network I was with and one another, but they didn’t match up to Raine & Horne, who have made launching the new office very straightforward.”
DigiKitPlus caught the attention of Mr Mehta. “DigiKitPlus provides vendors with a professional and eye-catching appraisal presentation, but the backend of this platform notifies me about what aspects of the proposal that are interested in, which helps me tailor my listing presentation.”
