As the #1 Local Community Enagement Office (2023 Raine&Horne Awards), we take great pride in supporting our local communities and the people who are part of it. From small business support and sponsoring our local sporting clubs, to hosting charity fundraisers or contributing to local schools, we’re actively working to give back to our neighbours around Australia.
Since 1922, Mona Vale Surf Life Saving Club has been providing a vital service to the local community, the primary goal is to keep beachgoers as safe as possible during patrol hours. They patrol the beach, train lifesavers, and teach and guide Nippers, the lifesavers of the future.
The Mission: To provide an opportunity for members of all levels to play at the highest level and reach their full potential. Foster and encourage a supportive and family environment to members of the community through educating fair play and love of football. Assist in the development of an improved standard of physical fitness in all members. Support and encourage coaches in developing skills through educational pathways accredited with FFA.
The bowling club is on the grounds of the entertainment campus of Pittwater RSL Club. Three fabulous greens where all are welcome...
Mona Vale Boardriders is an inclusive and Boardriders club committed to it's members and the progression of their surfing enjoyment and the beach culture we all share at Mona Vale. They are open to everyone and if you have a passion for surfing and feel like being a part of some spirited competition and family fun then Mona Vale Boardriders is the club for you.
Ocean Thunder is a series of high profile professional Surf Boat events, featuring 24 Elite Open Men’s Crews and 20 Elite Women’s Crews from Surf Life Saving Clubs across Australia. Over four rounds, Ocean Thunder showcases extreme, impactive, and entertaining surf boat racing. Competitors will race off the beach, through the surf break, and return for a beach run finish in a unique short course format built specifically for the Ocean Thunder Surf Boat Series.
Enjoy breathtaking 180-degree views stretching from the ocean to bushland from the challenging 18 hole tree-lined golf course and from the newly renovated Clubhouse which opened in 2024. We were a glassware provider for the Mona Vale Golf Club in 2021-2022.
Raine Island is part of the World Heritage Listed Great Barrier Reef. Our Network has donated and supported Raine Island over many years to help monitor the numbers of vulnerable green turtles and seabirds on the Great Barrier Reef including Raine Island, one of the Reef’s most remote islands located 620 kilometres north-west of Cairns in Wuthathi Sea Country.
Raine Island is the planet’s largest remaining nesting site for internationally endangered green turtles, and around 90% of the Great Barrier Reef’s entire northern green turtle population originates from the Raine Island National Park. Raine Island is also home to some very rare seabirds and an iconic stone beacon landmark which was built in 1844. The stone beacon is now listed on the Queensland Heritage Register due to its age and national cultural significance.

- Rural Aid: Australia’s most trusted rural charity. We stand with our farmers when they need us most. Rural Aid provides critical support to farmers affected by natural disasters through financial, well-being, and fodder assistance. The Raine & Horne Foundation is proud to be a bronze partner.
- Fire Halo: A collaboration aimed at protecting Australian homes during the bushfire season.
- FRR: The Raine & Horne Foundation has donated $100,000 to the Foundation for Rural & Regional Renewal (FRRR), a not-for-profit organisation that connects funding from government, business, and philanthropy with the genuine needs of rural and regional people and communities.
Sacred Heart is a popular, warm and welcoming primary school in Mona Vale. The school rules are based on the core values of respect, service, justice and compassion. Each week at assembly, the students are reminded of these core values, school rules and an expectation of behaviour linked to our core values.
