Condensation, Damp & Mould
In Tasmania, the weather in winter can be very cold and wet. This might cause problems with damp, condensation and mould in your home. You need to make sure there is no mould in your home.
You should try and get rid of mould yourselves, using reasonable methods, such as:
- properly ventilating the property
- heating the property, and
- cleaning mould off as it appears.
If you have made reasonable efforts which are not working and mould is a persistent issue at the property, please notify your Property Manager that repairs are needed.
For more information on how to reduce condensation, dampness and mould in the home please see the below factsheet or visit the CBOS website: www.cbos.tas.gov.au
