Raine & Horne Wagga Wagga’s Donation to CareSouth

At Raine & Horne Wagga Wagga, we believe in giving back to the community that supports us. Recently, we had the privilege of donating a portion of our commission from a recent property sale to CareSouth, a local organisation dedicated to supporting children and young people in out-of-home care.

CareSouth provides a range of essential services for vulnerable children, with foster care being a core part of their work. However, their support extends far beyond traditional foster placements. In Wagga Wagga, they have recently expanded their services to include intensive therapeutic care homes, catering to young people who are unable to live at home or within a foster care environment. These programs provide a safe and structured setting where children can receive the specialised care they need.

Our donation will directly contribute to improving the lives of these children. CareSouth plans to use the funds for therapeutic resources, such as weighted blankets that help children manage anxiety, and to support sports and recreational activities that encourage social engagement and personal growth. Additionally, part of the funds may go toward refurbishing areas within their Wagga office, creating a more youth-friendly environment where children feel comfortable accessing support, using online resources, or simply having a safe space to spend time.
