More winners and $350,000 in prizes as Raine & Horne celebrate golden 140 years

February 5, 2023
  • Raine & Horne is launching a new internal incentive scheme, Good as Gold 140, worth $350,000, that will reward 700 sales agents, property managers and administrative staff in 2023, which also marks the super brand’s 140th year of continuous operation.
  • The Good as Gold 140 campaign will acknowledge almost 65% more winners than in 2022, and the prize pool of $350,000 is the biggest ever.
  • The campaign will also offer vouchers to monthly winners between $200-$2000 from some of the world’s most identifiable consumer brands.
  • The Good as Gold 140 incentive runs until 30 November 2023.

Sydney, NSW (6 February 2023) It’s 140 years since Joseph Horne and Tom Raine launched one of Australia’s oldest businesses on 23 May 1883, and to celebrate Raine & Horne’s Good as Gold 140 internal incentive campaign will be giving away $350,000 its largest prize pool ever.

Operating from Wentworth Court, Elizabeth Street in Sydney, Raine & Horne established a set of business practices that have been religiously maintained to the present day by all its staff across its 300-plus offices globally.

“This year, the Good as Gold 140 internal incentive scheme will build on the strong culture in our network by recognising those staff members who, like property pioneers Tom Raine & Joseph Horne, are committed to personalised service and to meeting a client’s real estate needs,” said Angus Raine, Executive Chairman Raine & Horne.

“The very reason we are celebrating our 140-year anniversary is because of our people and this is a way to reward them as they have been integral in contributing to our longevity and massive growth.”

Mr Raine, the fourth generation of his family to lead one of the southern hemisphere’s oldest continuously operating firms, added, “Good as Gold 140 will offer a heavily expanded prize pool, and there’ll be more winners than ever.”

Massive prize pool up for grabs

As part of Good as Gold 140, over $350,000 worth of prizes will be given away, and 70 fortunate Raine & Horne staff members will win prizes monthly.

“Across the program, we will recognise 700 winners as part of our monthly Feel-Good Friday (FGF) events for their hard work and dedication to the brand,” said Mr Raine.

“This is almost 65% more winners than in 2022, and the numbers involved with Good as Gold 140 would undoubtedly blow the minds of my great grandfather Tom Raine and Joseph Horne but also make them incredibly proud of the business they launched on 23 May 1883 from a building in Elizabeth Street in Sydney.

“In 1883, if my great grandfather and Joseph had the equivalent of $350,000 to spend on their business, that would have been the equivalent of an eye-watering $10 million.”

This year prizes will range from gift cards from Prezzee to bespoke luxury experiences exclusive to the Raine & Horne network from We Wander (wewander.com.au), such as gourmet dining and wine tasting, to parasail or surf lessons.

Mr Raine said, “To score big through our Good as Gold 140 internal incentive scheme, winners will be those team members who make record-breaking sales, provide incredible customer service, and remain engaged in our industry-leading products and services such as social media marketing platform Amplify and online appraisal and listing tool, DigiKit.

“We will make sure every member of every office can join in our 140th-anniversary party by winning big through Good as Gold 140.”

The Good as Gold 140 incentive runs until 30 November 2023.

According to Georgia Dunwoodie, National Marketing & Communications Manager, Raine & Horne Group, “It is our people that make Raine & Horne great, and we look forward to recognising the results and success of everyone in the network.

“We are especially excited as we enter our 140th year to celebrate our success with Good as Gold 140 and to thank those who have helped us become one of Australia’s most trusted brands since 1883.”
