March 21, 2023

Highlights:

  • The Raine & Horne 2023 Awards for Excellence, celebrating the super brand’s 140 anniversary, have been finalised with Raine & Horne Lower North Shore collecting several significant gongs.
  • The team with offices in Mosman, Lane Cove and Willoughby scored first place in the highly competitive Top National Office for Auctions Listings after scoring a consistently high 90% auction clearance rate throughout 2022.
  • Raine & Horne Lower North Shore also finished a commendable second in the glamour categories of Top National Office Number of Sales and Top National Office Sales Dollar Values.
  • In the individual awards, Mary-Anne Fitzgerald and Rebecca Mitchell placed among the best 10 agents in the Top National Salesperson Sales Dollar Value category. At the same time, Alex Banning finished among the leading agents in the Top National Salesperson Sales Dollar Value category.

Lane Cove, NSW (21 March 2023) One of Sydney’s emerging superstar real estate teams, Raine & Horne Lower North Shore, proved a big winner at the 2023 Raine & Horne National Awards hosted on Saturday, 18 March by celebrity gardener Jamie Durie at the spectacular Sydney Town Hall.

Raine & Horne Lower North Shore, with offices at Lane Cove, Crows Nest and Mosman, consistently scored above a 90% auction clearance rate for its clients throughout the challenging market conditions of 2022 and was fittingly named Top National Office for Auctions Listings for its efforts.

Apart from the auction award, Raine & Horne Lower North Shore was well represented by Mary-Anne Fitzgerald and Rebecca Mitchell, who placed in the top 10 for Top National Salesperson Sales Dollar Value, and Alex Banning, who finished among the placegetters in the Top National Salesperson Sales Dollar Value category. Raine & Horne Lower North Shore also finished a commendable second in the glamour combined office categories of Top National Office Number of Sales and Top National Office Sales Dollar Values.

Managing Director of Raine & Horne Lower North Shore Stuart Bourne attributed the haul of awards, including the auction listing gong, to the supportive and inclusive team environment within the three offices.

“We have created a closely-knit team environment where everyone has contributed to our award-winning ways, high auction clearance rates and our Google rating of 4.75, which is the highest for any real estate office on Sydney’s very competitive Lower North Shore,” said Mr Bourne.

“Our team is supported by outstanding internal systems and processes that have simplified the sales process for our clients, whether it’s a private treaty sale or auction.”

Mr Bourne added that while Raine & Horne Lower North Shore is very process focussed, the team never has a fixed plan for a property before a client appraisal.

“Whether it’s an auction or private treaty, we never have a fixed idea of what is right for a property. Rather we take a bespoke approach and choose the method of sale that is right for every property.”

“The proof is in the pudding with our agents such as Mary-Anne Fitzgerald, Rebecca Mitchell and Alex Banning making the Top 10 nationally. However, many more members of our team are knocking on the door of the Top 10, which is extremely satisfying. We aren’t dependent on one or two but have a broader team of agents leading the way.”

To illustrate the client commitment at Raine & Horne Lower North Shore, literally 36 hours after the awards were announced, Alex Banning sold a resort-style apartment at 105B/7-13 Centennial Avenue, Lane Cove prior to auction for a block record of $1,990,000.

“This price was $390,000 above the vendor’s expectation and showcases that auctions can still deliver excellent results even in a challenging market climate,” Mr Bourne said. This result follows hot on the heels of the recent auction sale by Rebecca Mitchell of a stunning family home at 2 Gamma Road, Lane Cove, for a price that was $1 million above the vendor’s expectation.

“As a team, we are committed to always putting our clients first, which drives our award success, sales metrics and excellent Google reviews.”
