Highly ranked principal shifts to Raine & Horne

March 26, 2023
  • Highly rated sales whiz Mr H.M Tanvir has switched his Leumeah-based real estate office to Raine & Horne.
  • Mr Tanvir joined the super brand because of its support, ecosystem of technology firsts, and backing of his business ownership goals.
  • Mr Tanvir, who sold a stunning house in Joseph Whitehouse Close, Minto, in February 2021 for a then suburb record of $2.1 million, has a solid commitment to his local community.

Highly ranked real estate sales whiz HM Tanvir has opted to shift his successful Leumeah-based office to Raine & Horne, which is effective today.

Mr Tanvir, a leading sales agent in the Leumeah and Minto regions in Sydney’s rapidly expanding southwest, launched his office with another group in 2015.

A winner of his previous network’s rising star award nationally in 2018, Mr Tanvir is one of Minto and Leumeah’s highest-ranked agents by the rating platform RateMyAgent. The new Raine & Horne Leumeah principal was also five times agent of the year with his previous network.

Already Mr Tanvir, who has a tertiary qualification in commerce, has nine listings ready to take to market under the banner of his new real estate group,

The long-term sales specialist who has experience working in Australia since 2003 and in his homeland of Bangladesh, worked for several major multinational brands before real estate, as well as the banking sector in Bangladesh.

Significantly, Mr Tanvir also has small business experience from a stint as a restauranteur immediately before opening his real estate business in 2015.

“I shifted to real estate because I wanted a career where I wasn’t deskbound and with my extensive sales. In 2010, I bought several investment properties in the south western region of Sydney region and sold them for a decent profit a couple of years later.

“I bought two more and thought that with my sales expertise honed within other industries, I could make a difference as a real estate agent, and in 2015, I launched an office.”

Raine & Horne support and territorial reach

Mr Tanvir decided to join Raine & Horne as the super brand enables him to focus on Leumeah and Minto.

“Raine & Horne are allowing me to market where I am well known. I must also acknowledge the support of Tina Ashton, National Head of Growth & Network Manager, Raine & Horne

“I was impressed that Tina was available to liaise with me in December when everyone else was on holiday. Tina was never pushy, but she was always available, even on public holidays.

The super brand’s ecosystem of technology firsts, such as game-changing AI and social media marketing technology Amplify, and online sales and property management appraisal platform, DigitKit, also appealed to Mr Tanvir.

“Raine & Horne is very resourceful, and any agent that fully harnesses the power of these products will genuinely outpoint their competitors.

“The fact that Raine & Horne has been around for 140 years also is a factor in the trust value proposition my new group brings to the Leumeah and Minto markets.”

Supporting the local community

Mr Tanvir, who sold a stunning house in Joseph Whitehouse Close, Minto, in February 2021 for a then suburb record of $2.1 million, also has a substantial commitment to his local community.

“We support the local community mosque in Minto as well as a significant financial contribution in 2022 to the local Nepalese community to aid some of their community events. I also support Macquarie Fields Public School.

“Supporting the local community is about giving back to the people who support us. This is where the importance of trust comes in.

“Trust is important because in my region, a large cross-section of the community here have migrated to Australia from south Asia, and 50% of these people have arrived here over the last two decades.

“Many have bought a first home in this period, and it’s important they work with someone they trust.”

Looking ahead, Mr Tanvir said that people in his region would continue to buy and sell real estate regardless of the market cycles.

“The market is the market, and some people need to upsize, downsize, or buy a first home because of changing circumstances, whether it’s a retirement or a growing family.

“As for interest rates, it seems there will be two more hikes, and people are factoring that into their plans.

“In Minto and Leumeah, I feel that the market will settle down, and people will get on with their real estate plans. It will be a real market that will be bubble-free.”
