Narre Warren South is a suburb of Melbourne, 41km south-east of the CBD in the City of Casey. It is one of the fastest growing areas in Victoria.
Narre Warren South has everything on its door step. Schools, child care centres, shops and public transport, are all within reach of most residents. There are plenty of parks and beautiful large lakes.
The suburb is home to about 25,506 people, with the major industry being manufacturing. The majority of workers are clerical and administrative.
There are two shopping centres. Casey Central Shopping Centre is on Narre Warren-Cranbourne Road, anchored by a Coles supermarket and features a large number of specialty stores. Amberley Park Shopping Centre on Ormond Road is a smaller centre next door to Narre Warren South P-12 College.
Narre Warren South is home to Narre Warren South P-12 College, a public school catering for students from Prep to Year 12. The college has one of the largest student enrolments in Victoria, with nearly 2000 students and more than 150 staff members. The suburb is also served by Hillsmeade Primary School, a public primary school, ICA Casey College, a private school that will soon educate students up to Year 12, and Trinity Catholic Primary School, a co-educational Catholic primary school.
Nearby is the Berwick campus of Monash University and Fountain Gate shopping centre. The Casey Hospital in nearby Berwick serves the area.
