- Young gun principal, Gwen Levesque, expands her business with a third office in Salisbury
Raine & Horne is thrilled to announce that Mrs Gwen Levesque, one of South Australia’s rising real estate stars, has taken charge of her third office, Raine & Horne Salisbury.
This move solidifies Mrs Levesque’s position as a dynamic leader in the real estate industry in South Australia, adding to her existing ownership of Raine & Horne Gawler and Raine & Horne Munno Para.
Mr James Trimble, General Manager, SA, Raine & Horne, praised Ms Levesque’s achievements, stating, “This is a fantastic step forward for one of South Australia’s brightest real estate talents.
“Gwen started in property management at Gawler in 2016 after relocating from Queensland. She then became a part owner of Raine & Horne Gawler, joining with longtime principal Chris Weston, and has since added the Munno Para office in 2022. Her passion for growth and her ability to manage multiple offices make her a key figure in our network.”
The Salisbury office fills a strategic gap for Raine & Horne as the brand continues its expansion north of Adelaide. “An office at Salisbury has always been a major piece in our expansion puzzle to the city’s north,” said Mr Trimble. “Raine & Horne has served the Salisbury region for over 25 years, and with Gwen at the helm, we are confident of continued success.”
Salisbury emerging as Adelaide investment hot spot
Mrs Levesque highlighted the importance of Salisbury as a critical market. “The rapid development in the northern regions of Adelaide made opening an office here an easy decision. The government’s ongoing investment in infrastructure and the surge in residential and commercial developments make Salisbury a hot spot.
“Unlike other areas, the existing housing stock allows for immediate transactions, whether selling or leasing, without the delays associated with new builds,” Mrs Levesque added.
The market dynamics in Salisbury are particularly attractive, with the median house price at $600,000 and apartments at $330,000. “We’ve seen nearly 20% growth in house prices over the last year because of this region’s relative affordability, driven by a mix of established and first time buyers and investors,” Mrs Levesque explained.
“For instance, we currently have a stunning four-bedroom home at 63 Parkway Circuit, Parafield Gardens[i], just minutes from Salisbury, listed at around $810,000. It’s a prime example of properties in high demand here, with rental potential up to $700 per week.”
Salisbury’s connectivity, with its train line offering a quick 20-30 minute commute to Adelaide, adds to the area’s appeal. Mrs Levesque also highlighted the advantages of the local lifestyle, including excellent road links and proximity to Parafield Airport that offers adventure flights, tours and aircraft charters.
From property manager to industry leader
Mrs Levesque’s journey from property manager to principal of a multi-office operation is inspiring. “I thrive on challenges,” she said. This expansion is just the beginning—there is more to come.”
Being part of the Raine & Horne brand has been instrumental in her growth. “Raine & Horne’s support for both rentals and sales is unmatched. They’re changing the mentality around property management, and that’s why I’m committed to expanding with their backing,” Mrs Levesque said.
With her background in property management, Mrs Levesque assured new clients in Salisbury of the same high level of care, whether they’re selling a property or seeking management services. Her three offices collectively employ 14 staff members, and with the Salisbury expansion, Mrs Levesque is actively recruiting more talent across sales, property management, and administration.
“I’m looking for people who genuinely care about the clients they serve, not just about closing deals,” she said.
“At Raine & Horne Gawler, Raine & Horne Munno Para, and now Raine & Horne Salisbury, we will continue prioritising family, celebrating milestones, and investing in our staff’s development. From property management retreats to training days, we ensure our team is well-equipped and supported.”
The new Raine & Horne Salisbury office, located at 120 Salisbury Highway, boasts high visibility on a busy main road, ensuring it will be a central hub for real estate activity in the region.
Mrs Levesque is excited about this new chapter in her business journey with Raine & Horne. “I’m eager and can’t wait to see what the future holds,” she said.
