Raine & Horne Commercial launches new office in Sydney’s west

Raine & Horne Commercial Homebush
is set to become a major player in Western Sydney’s commercial property market.

The new office, which is another plank in heavy weight Raine & Horne Commercial’s continuing strategic push across Australia, which includes six new offices over the past year, is led by experienced sales and leasing agents Duarte Figueira and Penelope Marshall. The office is located at Level 2, Suite 108, 3 The Crescent, Homebush Bay.

Together, Mr Figueira and Ms Marshall have over 40 years worth of transactional experience in Sydney’s west and north. During a 23 year career in property, Mr Figueira was a director of a major corporate commercial brand and has worked in some of Sydney’s most vibrant commercial markets including the city’s western corridor, the central west and south west.

In 2008, Mr Figueira moved into consultancy work and completed projects for the likes of construction company St Hilliers.

The experienced Ms Marshall was an associate director of a major commercial brand for four years. Her primary focus was the industrial and business sectors on the North Shore. Ms Marshall has also worked as a valuer, specialising in industrial properties.

The dynamic duo considered several options and franchise groups before linking with Raine & Horne Commercial.

“Setting up a business in our own name wasn’t going to help us get established, while other property groups didn’t give us the market penetration we were looking for,” Mr Figueira said.

“We decided on Raine & Horne Commercial because it’s a rapidly expanding brand. We believe we can successfully support the growth of our business by being attached to the Raine & Horne Commercial brand.

“Raine & Horne Commercial has excellent offices already servicing the Inner West and Parramatta and we believe with our background and experience in the commercial sector, we can also help Raine & Horne Commercial continue to build a wider reach.”

Strategically, the decision to establish in Homebush Bay provides Raine & Horne Commercial Homebush with access to the western corridor industrial precincts along the M4 and to the west.

“We have long established relationships with many significant institutional clients such as Goodman, Dexus, ING, Mirvac and Stocklands, which own a lot of stock in western Sydney," Mr Figueira said.

“We also have established links with a wide cross section of private industrial and commercial owners, syndicates and high net-worth individuals.”

“There are many transport and service companies also based in the region because of the proximity to the M2, M4 and M7. Likewise, Homebush is just 20 minutes from the CBD and there are severl arterial links opening Homebush to Greater Sydney.”

“Our focus will be primarily on industrial and office sales and leasing. Geographically we will focus on the Central Western precinct which includes industrial areas such as Auburn, Silverwater, Rydalmere and Lidcombe,” Mr Figueira said.

Angus Raine, CEO, Raine & Horne Commercial said Duarte and Penelope were well-known for their transactional credentials.

"We expect Raine & Horne Commercial Homebush to make a significant contribution to the commercial property market in Sydney’s west,” Mr Raine said.

“Raine & Horne Commercial Homebush’s point of difference is that all clients and investors will be dealing directly with the principals, Duarte and Penelope, who can provide corporate service and advice at a local level.”
