Philip Barber
With over 30 years of connection to Corrigin, Phil is a trusted and familiar face in the local community.
After starting his career with Wesfarmers in Wyalkatchem in 1964, Phil quickly found his calling as a Livestock Agent, a role he proudly held for 58 years across various companies. During this time, Phil also earned his Auctioneer’s Licence, which he held for 40 years and maintained a Real Estate Licence at various points in his career, reinstating it three years ago.
In March of this year, Phil transitioned to full-time real estate after retiring from livestock due to a shoulder injury. Since joining Westcoast Rural Real Estate in April, Phil has brought his decades of expertise to the property market with outstanding results. Since December 2023, he has successfully sold 14 properties in the Corrigin and Kondinin areas and he is committed to expanding the business throughout Corrigin and its surrounding shires.
Phil’s personal philosophy in real estate revolves around empathy and clear communication. He is dedicated to understanding his clients’ reasons for selling and works tirelessly to help buyers find properties that meet their needs and budgets. Transparency is at the heart of Phil’s approach—ensuring every listing, description and transaction is straightforward and without ambiguity.
In his leisure time, Phil’s passion for Lawn Bowls takes centre stage. A long-time member of the Corrigin Bowling Club, he has served as both President and Club Captain and he enjoys traveling to compete in tournaments, including the renowned Country Week Bowls.
With his extensive experience, unwavering dedication to his clients and deep ties to the community, Phil is committed to delivering exceptional service and achieving outstanding outcomes for buyers and sellers alike.
