    This approximately 125 acre Burdekin cane farm at 22 Linton road Fredericksfield is just 6km from Home Hill and 11 km from Ayr. It has frontage to both Homestead Road and the Bruce highway. The vendor developed the farm in 1995 and had grown mainly sugar cane until diversifying into other crops and successfully producing a range of alternate crops suitable for the area. All the pumps are interconnected by 12' & 15" poly and concrete underground pipelines delivering water to outlets at the laser Levelled paddocks on the farm. Changing watering batches is simply a matter of opening and closing valves.

    A feature of this farm is the large 9 Bay Shed 54m x 20m x 6 m clearance including 2 locked 12m shipping containers for secure storage. The shed has a partially concreted heavy duty floor and a kitchen and living area with mezzanine floor at both ends for extra living area expansion if required. There are also two 47,000 litre poly water tanks with pressure pump for domestic water supply and a 12m x 4m pig and poultry pen for the animals. The shed has lighting and 3 phase power with a 100kw pole transformer nearby the shed.
