Highly decorated Double Bay office holds North Shore powerhouse at bay at major real estate awards

April 2, 2024

Raine & Horne Double Bay/Bondi Beach continues to solidify its place as a leading force in Australian real estate after clinching the prestigious Top NSW Office Dollar Value and Top Office - Number of Sales Transactions awards during the 2024 Raine & Horne NSW & ACT Awards for Excellence ceremony held on Saturday, 23 March.

The event, hosted by Mr Angus Raine, Executive Chairman of Raine & Horne, and emceed by Mr Larry Emdur, known for his roles on popular television shows such as the Morning Show and Chase Australia on Channel Seven, drew over 450 attendees to the luxurious Fullerton Hotel Sydney.

Led by highly decorated sales agent and principal Mr Ric Serrao, Raine & Horne Double Bay/Bondi Beach has constantly earned industry recognition for its excellence over the last couple of decades. Despite stiff competition in 2023, particularly from Raine & Horne Lower North Shore led by the dynamic Mr Stuart Bourne, the Eastern Suburbs powerhouse emerged victorious in various fiercely contested office award categories, highlighting its consistent dominance.

Elite market rivalry reigns at Raine & Horne

Mr Raine said he was thrilled that the leading contenders in the major office categories are in two of Australia’s most prestigious real estate markets.

“As a brand with over 141 years of continuous operation, we have been servicing Sydney’s Eastern Suburbs and Lower North Shore since the beginning in 1883,” Mr Raine said.

“It’s personally pleasing for me that Ric and his team, along with Raine & Horne Lower North Shore, have cemented Raine & Horne’s legacy as the brand of choice in two of Australia’s most prestigious markets.

“Ric and Stuart are brilliant operators, and I can see no reason why either of them and their teams will not continue this rivalry for years to come, with vendors and buyers in Sydney’s Eastern Suburbs and the Lower North Shore being the ultimate winners of their genuine care and dedication to unrivalled customer service.”

Yet, it wasn't solely Mr Serrao and Mr Bourne who celebrated significant victories.
