- Perth the most liveable city says IPSOS
A survey conducted by IPSOS has found that Perth’s inner suburbs are the most liveable metropolitan areas in Australia.
Ranging from City Beach to Inglewood, through Kings Park and Mosman Park, the inner sub-region of Perth received an overall score of 68.6 out of 100 on the liveability scale which included topics such as safety, healthcare, education, public transport and affordable housing. The next best was Adelaide’s Central & Hills district with Sydney’s Eastern Suburbs in third.
While some of the suburbs in inner Perth are known for their million-dollar properties overlooking the iconic Swan River, it is still possible to find affordable housing among the luxury homes. The latest data from real estate peak body reiwa.com shows the median apartment price is an affordable $423,375 in inner Perth.
For those that are looking to rent in Inner Perth, REIWA advises the median rent price is $400 per week.
