A true local, John has been living in the St George area for most of his life. Growing up in Bardwell Park, John attended Kingsgrove High and St George TAFE Kogarah. With his wife, Katina, they purchased their first home in Oatley back in 1996 and their daughter attended St Joseph’s Oatley, where they made strong friendships with local families and fellow business owners over the years. 

Before his career in real estate, John worked as an Architectural Draftsperson in the building industry. After three years of this, he wanted a change and pivoted to hospitality. After 20 years, four successful dining establishments and a depth of experience in customer service and management, John made the move to real estate.

The customer experience has been a key focus on John’s, and his motto ‘always exceed customer expectations’ has become a way of life. With seven years in sales at an agency in Hurstville, John launches Raine & Horne Oatley with rich experience in sales, customer service and business management, as well as a local expertise developed from a lifetime of living in the area.
