  • Real estate training and sales whiz Dylan Thomas has joined Raine & Horne as a Network Performance Manager, effective immediately.
  • The appointment signals the next phase of Raine & Horne’s office expansion in its 140th year of operation.
  • Raine & Horne has taken the unique approach to grow internally as it expands externally.

Leading real estate group Raine & Horne is gearing up for significant growth by appointing real estate training and sales whiz Dylan Thomas as a Network Performance Manager.

Mr Thomas is the third generation of his family to work in real estate, following in the footsteps of his father, Steve Thomas and his grandmother Elanor Thomas.

In a stellar career in property and financial services, Mr Thomas has clocked up nine years as a sales agent and sales manager. He was NSW State Manager at Entry Education, where he specialised in real estate sales training.

The new Raine & Horne Network Performance Manager was also employed at the property portal Teach Me About Property, where he was a trainer and assessor. He has also worked with Westpac as a Head of Training & Valuations.

During his stint in real estate sales, Mr Thomas proved to be a high-achieving sales agent, winning several major national awards based on the number of his sales and dollar value.

Also, well-schooled in the business of real estate, Mr Thomas has a property diploma, a certificate in training and assessments and a mortgage and finance diploma.

Raine & Horne’s newest team also has undertaken tertiary-level courses in intellectual property law, business, and marketing operations.

Internal appointment signals office expansion

According to Mindy Powell-Hodges, Head of Network, Raine & Horne, Mr Thomas will work directly with Celeste Kopps, National Performance Manager.

“We are anticipating growth across NSW as the market returns to form on the back of more substantial consumer confidence and the pause in interest rate increases,” Ms Powell-Hodges said.

“Dylan, who joins us with a fantastic pedigree in real estate sales and training, will be a performance manager tasked with supporting our existing offices in NSW, enabling other members of our network management team to focus on office growth.

“The move to employ Dylan is about ensuring the corporate team is large enough to service the new offices we expect to join us.

“Where many of our competitors grow and then add headcount internally, we’ve taken the approach that we need to grow internally as we grow externally.”

Ms Powell-Hodges continued, “We are excited that Dylan has joined us and will be a massive asset to our Corporate team.”

Fantastic opportunity to showcase broad real estate knowledge

Equally excited to join Raine & Horne in the super brand’s 140th year of operation, Mr Thomas said, “This is a fantastic opportunity as this role supporting the office network in NSW will enable me to combine all experience, I have gained from working virtually in every aspect of real estate.

“It also helps that I have worked behind the scenes in mortgage finance with a major Australian bank and have experience with real estate sales training and licencing across all state and territory jurisdictions.

“I’m confident that whatever challenge I’m asked by a principal or sales agent to assist with, whether it’s a vendor objection or a property valuation, I’ll have the answer or solution.”
