In a move aimed at giving consumers additional peace of mind during the latest COVID-19 challenges, Raine & Horne has launched the R&H Vax Badge for all its staff who have achieved the “fully vaccinated” status, according to Angus Raine, Executive Chairman, Raine & Horne who has his second vaccination jab in July. 

Angus said, “As an industry, we need to support the government’s messages about the need to get vaccinated.” 

Therefore, Angus and his team are chipping in with an internal incentive, the R&H Vax Badge aimed at encouraging and celebrating employees of the Superbrand who have achieved the significant “fully vaccinated” milestone. 

To be eligible for the R&H Vax Badge, Raine & Horne staff must send in a screenshot of their Medicare certificate to show their vaccination status, “and then we set to work adding the badge to their website bio and LinkedIn or Facebook profile,” Angus said.

“Many of our staff have continued to perform essential services such as routine rental property inspections and one-on-one open homes and have followed the health and social distancing guidelines to a tee, and this initiative is aimed at giving our buyers, vendors, investors and tenants peace of mind.”

Acknowledging that the messages about the value of vaccination “are still taking time to sink in”, Angus stated that “any incentives that may encourage real estate professionals to get vaccinated should be considered.

“Apart from marketing campaigns, this could be something as simple as a gift voucher or a day off in lieu,” he said.
