- Dynamic Northern Beaches agency named Australia’s best
Enthusiastic Northern Beaches property powerhouse, Raine & Horne Dee Why/Collaroy was named Australia’s best office at the 2018 Raine & Horne National Awards, held on the Gold Coast this week.
Led by dynamic duo Peter Mosedale and Lachlan Yeates, Raine & Horne Dee Why/Collaroy was named the 135-year-old global property firm’s Top Office for Number of Sales, beating Eastern Suburbs powerhouse Raine & Horne Double Bay for the second year in a row.
“We’ve had a longstanding and healthy rivalry with Raine & Horne Double Bay/Bondi Beach, and it’s fantastic to compete against them. To get them for the second year in a row is very pleasing,” said Mr Mosedale.
“However, the award is not just about Lachlan and me. There’s 60 staff at Raine & Horne Dee Why/Collaroy who have contributed to this award, including our fantastic support staff. We just love working with each other.”
Mr Yeates added, “Our team does so much for Peter, me and the Raine & Horne network, and we’re just humbled to win this award.”
Raine & Horne Dee Why/Collaroy also scored second in the Top Office for Dollar Value behind Raine & Horne Double Bay/Bondi Beach, and placed second to its archrivals in the Top Office – Auction Listings criterion.
Meanwhile, Mr Mosedale finished runner-up to real estate legend, Ric Serrao in the Top Salesperson (Principal) Dollar Value category with Mr Yeates in third.
The Raine & Horne Dee Why/Collaroy principals also scored top ten finishes in the Top Salesperson (Principal) – Number of Sales category behind South Australian hotshot Kate Smith, Principal of Raine & Horne Semaphore.
Other winners from Raine & Horne Dee Why/Collaroy included Chris Aldren who finished fourth in the Top Salesperson Dollar Value category. This was Mr Alden’s first time in the top five of this competitive category. Vincent West, Co-Principal of Raine & Horne Commercial grabbed third place in the Top Commercial Salesperson – Sales Dollar Value category.
In another significant highlight for Raine & Horne Dee Why/Collaroy, Peter Mosedale and Lachlan Yeates were named the winners of the prestigious 2018 Max Raine Award for Excellence.
Angus Raine, Executive Chairman, Raine & Horne, explained, “This award is presented to a principal or principals, who are strong supporters of the Raine & Horne network, who mentor and coach other offices in the network, and Peter and Lachlan tick all these boxes.
“They also embody the Raine & Horne brand and always embrace wholeheartedly our groups’ latest innovations such as Amplify and Digikit.
“Exceptionally savvy operators, who aren’t afraid of hard work, Peter and Lachlan have overseen the massive expansion of their business over the last decade and half, including the opening of a residential office in Dee Why and Raine & Horne Commercial Northern Beaches in 2007, when they acquired a major rent roll from one of our major commercial competitors.”
In 2005, Raine & Horne Collaroy had 180 properties under management and five staff. In combination, Raine & Horne Dee Why/Collaroy and Raine & Horne Commercial Northern Beaches now have 1800 properties under management, and employ 60 sales, property management, and support staff, making it the most prominent real estate agency in the Northern Beaches, noted Mr Raine.
On receiving the Max Raine award, Mr Mosedale said, “There’s a lot of very deserving people within Raine & Horne who have served the company and the industry longer than we have, so we are proud recipients of this award.
“Max Raine is an industry icon, and we are delighted the Raine family is still at the helm through Angus. We had the pleasure of meeting Max, which has helped us understand the true heritage of the brand.
“We’d like to thank the Raine family for the opportunity they have given to Lachlan, Vincent and myself.
“We’ve been given all the tools to carry out the journey of growing a real estate office. We picked up the Raine & Horne toolbelt, and we encourage others to do the same.”
