- Agents flying high with Amplify to Copenhagen
Two high-flying agents have won business class return airfares from Sydney, Australia to Copenhagen, Denmark for five magical days in the Scandinavian capital, as part of global property network’s ‘Fly High with Amplify’ sales campaign.
Star agents Filippo D’Arrigo from Raine & Horne Marrickville and Jason Read, Principal of Raine & Horne Coomera, have won the once in a lifetime prizes after using Amplify to promote more than 50% of their sales listings in the five months to 31 May 2019.
A first-to-market technology, Amplify uses the latest in digital marketing and social media to engage with active and passive buyers, according to Angus Raine, Executive Chairman of Raine & Horne.
“The real estate industry must adapt to new technologies such as Amplify to engage with consumers,” Mr Raine said. “Amplify is putting our agents and their listings ahead of the curve, which is helping them sell faster.
“We’ve also discovered that those agents such as Filippo and Jason, who are adopting and using Amplify religiously are getting real results. Offices are reporting unprecedented numbers of enquiries and appraisals coming through.
Mr D’Arrigo, says his office promotes every listing through Amplify with stunning results. “We now have over 57,000 visits to our website every month with a very high 14% click-through rates, with the average visitor taking over 3.5 minutes to read our listings.
“This is a long time to be reading a listing advertisement. Before Amplify, our average reading times were 30 seconds, the click-through rates were less than 1%, and we were lucky to attract 2,000 – 3,000 visitors each month.
“Moreover, we have more than doubled the enquiries we were getting through the traditional portals and are attracting over 50 groups to our properties on the weekend.”
At open homes on Saturday 8 June, 53 groups visited 34 Gordon Square Marrickville, which will auction on 3 July, while 41 groups inspected 548 Illawarra Road Marrickville. Also, 37 groups visited 84 Silver Street Marrickville, which will also go under the hammer on 3 July.
“These are great numbers. I don’t care what market you’re in,” said Mr D’Arrigo, who hasn’t been to Europe for over 20 years. “I’ll be taking my 16-year-old son Daniel on my first ever trip to Denmark, as my wife Susana prefers not to fly.”
Mr Read will be taking his life partner and co-principal of Raine & Horne Coomera Jacqui Walker on the plane with him to Copenhagen. “We kicked off the new business 10 months ago and its been frantic ever since. So, the flight will give us some extended time to talk, which I’m looking forward to.
“We’re very excited and it’s been a no-brainer using Amplify, which is a major reason we joined the brand last year.”
Every property with Raine & Horne Coomera is promoted through Amplify initially when it lists and a second campaign to promote the final sale.
“We are knocking on the door of almost 20,000 visits to our website every month because of Amplify, which seems to be double the activity of other offices we were working with in the past.
“We are getting an average of 17% click-through rates, with as much as 24% for some popular properties.
“Also, our attendance at open homes is about 15% better than 12 months ago before we joined Raine & Horne. We attribute this success in part to Amplify.”
Famed for its Tivoli Gardens and The Little Mermaid sculpture inspired by the brilliant Danish author and playwright Hans Christen Anderson, Copenhagen is home to Amplify’s globally recognised software developer CCT.
CCT management will host an exclusive tour of the global software developers headquarters in Copenhagen for Mr D’Arrigo and Mr Read.
