Innisfail, QLD (15 November 2022) Raine & Horne Innisfail is bolstering its Cassowary Coast presence ahead of future regional expansion by opening a brand new office.

Led by Chloe Collins, Principal of Raine & Horne Innisfail, the new move to new premises at 49 Fitzgerald Esplanade, Innisfail, included a spacious fit-out for the team, including Michael Skuse, Sales Director, and Auctioneer.

“The new office is a great opportunity to show Innisfail that we are here to stay and committed to the region,” Ms Collins said.

“Real estate on the Cassowary Coast shows growth with many people moving into the area.

“Innisfail has many projects happening, with new businesses and existing businesses growing and expanding in the region, allowing for job growth opportunity, which is, in turn, boosting our real estate sector.”

To celebrate the new era for Raine & Horne Innisfail, an opening night was held ahead of the office’s official opening on November 1.

Ms Collins, who opened Raine & Horne Innisfail in early 2020, said the opening night was a great success, and the team were grateful for the support of local dignitaries, contractors and business that attended the event.

At the event, Cassowary Coast Regional Council Mayor, Cr Mark Nolan, said it was exciting to welcome a new business into a unique premise with a strong history and positioned in a fantastic riverfront location.

“This building was originally constructed in the 1940s and was used as the waterfront workers’ hall and, more recently, a kindergarten but had sat vacant for several years before this redevelopment,” Cr Nolan told guests that included Raine & Horne Executive Chairman Angus Raine.

“Back in history, unions used to meet here to plan industrial action.”

Clr Nolan continued, “Council officers worked with Raine & Horne Innisfail to ensure that redevelopment of the former union building will complement the community and Council’s vision for the Riverfront precinct as outlined in the Innisfail Strategic Master Plan.”

Entrepreneurial-backed boon for the local economy and real estate

Mr Raine said the reported $25 million by the wife of Australian billionaire and co-founder of Atlassian, Mike Cannon-Brookes, will be a boon to the Cassowary Coast’s economy.

“Chloe and Michael have expanded their presence at the perfect time as the region moves forward and is set to thrive following the pandemic,” Angus said.

“We are thrilled to support Chloe and Michael as our network in Far North Queensland is extremely strong and interconnected.

“Having members of the team from our Port Douglas office drive 2.5 hours for the opening, as well as members from the Atherton office that is 90 minutes away, says a lot about the collaborative culture in our network.”
