11 Athelstane Avenue Arncliffe Raine&Horne Marrickville has had a fantastic month with great success at auction across the region.

On Saturday 25 May, we had two properties go under the hammer at two busy on site auctions. Our first auction that day was at 93 King Street, Canterbury. The property had seven registered bidders which led to a strong amount of bidding. The property sold under the hammer for $675,000.

Later that afternoon we held another auction 1/28 Gould Avenue, Lewisham. The marketing campaign for this property saw a large crowd present on the day. There were 12 registered bidders at the auction and the property was sold with a strong result of $676,000.

Last Saturday, we took 11 Athelstane Avenue, Arncliffe to auction. The property sold under the hammer for $731,000. There were three registered bidders on the day, with strong bidding from all parties which created a competitive auction securing our vendors a result $31,000 over the set reserve. It was a fantastic result, with our vendors extremely pleased with the final result!

Our most recent auction night was held at our City Fringe Auction Rooms last night. The first State of Origin match couldn’t keep the buyers away and we had strong registrations on all properties. The room filled quickly and we saw strong bidding which created some solid results. Successfully sold on the night:

As you can see it’s been a very busy month here at Raine&Horne Marrickville. These results are testament to the strength of the local market. With the RBA deciding to keep interest rates on hold at 2.75% at their board meeting on Tuesday we get the feeling things are going to heat up in the Inner West area over the coming months.
