Ken Giese
A successful career is recorded in the results.
For Ken Giese, the path to becoming one of the Clarence Valley’s most successful Real Estate Agents started back on 2nd January 1990 with Raine & Horne Yamba where he naturally applied his empathetic and balanced style of engagement with clients and customers. This service approach was warmly received, and much business was entered into.
However, getting to that point was just part of a natural progression during the previous decade. With his wife, Chris, in their early 20’s, he started their first highly successful small business which allowed them the opportunity to totally own their first home, a goal they formed during their teenage years.
The home became a reality with the can-do approach. Ken played an integral role in its design and construction. On completion, Ken continued working in the building industry, gaining wide experience and knowledge in many facets of home construction.
Recognising that buying, building, and selling homes was part of Australian life, Ken decided to enhance his business skills and attended University to complete his Diploma in Business Management. Ken’s positive business acumen was recognised by others, and he was offered a senior position at LJ Hooker Maclean, in 1994. Again, his success within the industry was immediate.
With the background in construction, business and people skills, and his need to ensuring people are looked after when their most valuable asset is involved, has seen Ken being recognised by LJ Hooker International on his success on numerous occasions. He has achieved entry into the prestigious Captains Club ten times and Multi Million Chapter six times.
As licensee and partner in the business, Ken recognised that the future required a younger, highly skilled team and invited his daughter, Abby and son in law, Brandon Bourke to join the business. This most positive step has injected real enthusiasm, considered business planning, positive change, and expansion.
The Yamba market has again become a reality with the establishment of a second office in the centre of town and a change of branding back to Raine & Horne - Maclean, Yamba Iluka.
For Ken it’s has been full circle. The future is exciting and energetic, with the recognised culture being all about the team and the service they provide. The Lower Clarence market is responding with their commitment to the business.
