  • The Raine & Horne Foundation has donated almost $420,000 to a collection of charities, including Dignity, the Foundation for Rural and Regional Renewal (FRRR) and the Great Barrier Reef Foundation.

Sydney NSW (15 December 2022) As part of its partnership with Dignity, the Raine & Horne Foundation has raised $13,000 for the not-for-profit organisation that is empowering people who are experiencing homelessness.

Over the past 12 months, the Raine & Horne Foundation has donated almost $420,000 to several community causes, including Dignity, the Foundation for Rural and Regional Renewal (FRRR) and the Great Barrier Reef Foundation.

"As part of an internal incentive campaign, "Build your best listing for Dignity", conducted through Raine & Horne's office network, we donated $13,000 to Dignity for Christmas," said Angus Raine, Executive Chairman of Raine & Horne.

"The innovative Christmas campaign involved the Raine & Horne Foundation sending Christmas Gingerbread House Kits to our offices and inviting them to decorate the houses as part of the competition.

"Most of our offices entered the competition, and the best entries were from Raine & Horne Neutral Bay and Raine & Horne Wetherill Park.

"Not only are Christmas Gingerbread House Kits a fun activity for our offices, but every kit also purchased will help Dignity with its efforts addressing homelessness this holiday season."

The Gingerbread house kits included icing mix, baseboard, piping bag and instructions.

Mr Raine said, "Each office needed to supply its own additions to make the house a home which could include using Lego characters, chocolate lollies, decorations, and food dye, but the opportunities were endless!

"The winning entry from Raine & Horne Neutral Bay used a clever combination of sand, surfboards, sun and Santa to capture the judges' attention."

Alexis Hay, Real Estate Agent, Raine & Horne Neutral Bay, who organised the winning entry, said, "The campaign was a great way to "come together as an office, have some fun and support an important cause.

"Dignity has a big, audacious goal to end homelessness and being involved in the campaign by creating something special as an office, especially this close to Christmas, was a no-brainer for us.

"We wanted to do something a bit different. Christmas in Australia is about prawns, the sun and the beach, and we tried to capture this with our entry."
