Raine & Horne, which is celebrating 140 years of operation this year, is excited to announce a new strategic direction for Raine & Horne Rural, reaffirming its commitment to serving the rural property market across Australia.

Raine & Horne Rural has a strong presence in Australia, with a network of 10 offices across New South Wales and seven offices in Queensland. Additionally, the company operates rural offices in South Australia and Western Australia. With ambitious goals for expansion, Raine & Horne Rural is also planning to establish its presence in the Northern Territory.

The new strategic direction aims to leverage the existing network of regional offices across Australia and enhance the super brand’s focus on rural properties. Raine & Horne, which is 100% owned and operated, has a significant presence in major regional hubs throughout Australia, making it well-positioned to cater to rural property needs.

Mr Raine, the fourth generation of his family to lead Raine & Horne, proudly recounts the origins of his firm’s legacy in the rural sector.

“It all began on 23 May 1883 when my great-great-grandfather, Tom Raine, and his business partner, Joseph Horne, embarked on a remarkable journey, with a primary focus on the management of rural estates for affluent colonial families, including the esteemed Coopers and Wentworths from the outset.

“In our 140th year of operation, we are pleased to reaffirm our dedication to Australia's rural real estate markets. This move can be seen as a return to our roots, as our group has long served significant regional and rural markets nationwide."

Unleashing the full potential of the Raine & Horne Rural network

According to Travis Wentriro, Network Manager, Raine & Horne, the renewed focus on the rural business has already paved the way for two brand-new offices in the NSW Upper Hunter to join the Raine & Horne Rural network in August.

“These independent offices will undergo a rebranding process to align with the Raine & Horne Rural brand. With these additions, the Raine & Horne Rural network, for example, will comprise a total of 10 offices in New South Wales,” Mr Wentriro said.

"We are partnering with existing long-term businesses with a strong presence in regional areas. We aim to amplify their rural real estate services and provide comprehensive support as they embrace the Raine & Horne Rural brand." For instance, Raine & Horne Rural Southern Highlands in NSW recently ramped up its rural services with the listing of "The Meadows," a 385-acre property located in Moss Vale. The property is scheduled to be auctioned on the specified date, with a price guide of $12.5 - $13.5 million, according to the selling agent, George Kolovos.

To facilitate the brand strategy, Raine & Horne Rural has revamped the dedicated section on its website, www.rh.com.au/rural, where interested buyers can explore the extensive range of rural properties available. Currently, hundreds of properties are listed on the platform, showcasing the agency's commitment to rural real estate.

"We want to demonstrate to rural offices across Australia that Raine & Horne is serious about rural real estate. By enhancing our collateral and support, we aim to entice more professionals to join us and expand their rural offerings," he said.
