John Edmondson is an accomplished Real Estate and Stock and Station Agent living in the Pokolbin region of the Hunter Valley. He has owned a property there for 15 years and called the Hunter Valley home for the last 6 years.

Launching his Real Estate career in 2015, John quickly established himself as one the Valley’s premier agents. Notching up an enviable sales record for Rural, Lifestyle and Residential properties throughout the Hunter, John has gained invaluable experience and knowledge working across our diverse region. John has sold rural properties as far and wide as Dungog, Clarence Town, Singleton, Laguna, Wollombi and Lambs Valley, and has conducted residential sales in Cessnock, Bellbird, Rutherford, Gillieston Heights, Cliftleigh, East Maitland, Branxton and Windella.

At the heart of John's success is his passion for helping people. Knowledgeable, well-liked and a realist, he thrives on being able to guide people through the sales and purchasing process with a calm solid hand which during these current times is essential. From upmarket Sydney lifestyle buyers to first home buyers or investors, John treats all of his customers with the same respect and devotes his time evenly across his clients. He is a tireless worker and a strong negotiator and will always achieve the best possible outcome for your property.

Prior to Real Estate, John worked for 30 years in Sydney in the financial markets. He has been a director and managed departments in some of the world’s largest investment companies including JP Morgan, Citigroup, Credit Suisse and Ord Minnett. This experience has given him a deep understanding of World and Australian markets and the drivers behind the cycles we see in our Real Estate markets. He is always happy to have a chat about the investment market as well!

In his spare time, John runs an Angus breeding farm with his wife and son and is enjoying being back on the land, having grown up in the country as a young boy. He also manages his own tourist accommodation on the same property and is well aware of all the machinations that are needed to run such a business in the Hunter.
