Raine & Horne NSW/ACT awards shine with record attendance as top performers thrive

March 18, 2025

The 2025 Raine & Horne NSW/ACT Awards for Excellence took centre stage on International Women’s Day at the spectacular Hyatt Regency in Sydney, honouring the network’s top sales and property management professionals across residential, rural, commercial, and finance categories for their outstanding achievements in 2024.

Dominating the evening was Raine & Horne Double Bay/Bondi Beach, led by one of Australia’s most successful agents, Ric Serrao. The powerhouse office claimed the prestigious Top Office – Sales Gross Commission Income (GCI) award, edging out intense competition from cross-town rival Raine & Horne Lower North Shore, led by Stuart Bourne.

However, Mr Bourne and his high-performing team made their mark by securing Top Office – Number of Sales Transactions, proving their strength in sheer sales volume. Mr Serrao won the Top Principal award for Sales GCI and finished fourth behind winner Farha Dibb from Raine & Horne Ingleburn in the Top Principal Number of Sales Transactions.

The sold-out event hosted by comedian Rob Shehadi of Fat Pizza fame generated a 25% increase in attendance from 2024, reinforcing the award's status as a must-attend occasion for the network. One of the night’s most highly anticipated moments was the presentation of the coveted Golden Ticket—an all-expenses-paid trip to Uluru valued at $10,000 per winner. This year, over 40 of Raine & Horne’s best-performing agents in NSW were rewarded with this exclusive experience, including Mr Serrao and several members of his award-winning team.

Rebecca Mitchell claims top honours on International Women’s Day

On International Women’s Day, sales ace Rebecca Mitchell of Raine & Horne Lower North Shore claimed the Top Salesperson Sales GCI award, triumphing in a highly competitive field. Ms Mitchell outperformed Raine & Horne Double Bay/Bondi Beach’s talented trio— Alex Lyons, Paul Langsam, and Hannan Bouskila—as well as her Lower North Shore colleague, Mary-Anne Fitzgerald.

Her victory on International Women’s Day underscored the real estate industry’s progress in gender diversity, a point highlighted by Raine & Horne Executive Chairman, Angus Raine. “At Raine & Horne, around half our employees are women, which is extremely pleasing,” Mr Raine noted.

Ms Mitchell also finished in the top five in the Top Salesperson Number of Sales Transactions category won by Marc Gable of Raine & Horne Green Square/ Bexley/ Beverly Hills.

The Top Coastal Office for 2025 was Raine & Horne Berry/Nowra, led by Jared Cochrane and Jacqueline Crapp. The office also secured a commendable fifth place in the Top Office—number of Sales Transactions category.

In the rural categories, Raine & Horne Bathurst, led by Matt Clifton, Michelle Mackay, and Grant Maskill-Dowton, was named Top Rural Office – GCI. Meanwhile, Raine & Horne Mollymook/Milton/Ulladulla, led by Louise Monte and Ben Pryde, claimed first place in the Largest Rural Sale/Auction Transaction category. Mr Pryde further cemented his reputation as one of Raine & Horne’s most consistent sales achievers, securing top five rankings in both Top Principal Sales – GCI and Number of Sales Transactions.

City and regional offices excel in commercial property awards

In the commercial property categories, the awards were spread across city and regional offices, reflecting the broad reach and strength of the Raine & Horne Commercial brand in NSW, noted Chris Nicholl, CEO of Raine & Horne.

Raine & Horne Commercial Penrith, led by long-term principal Colin Henry, secured first place in the Top Commercial Office Number of Sales Transactions category, while inner Sydney powerhouse Raine & Horne Commercial Inner West/South Sydney, led by Luke and Nick Smith, claimed the Top Office Sales GCI award.

In the Top Commercial Salesperson Number of Sales Transactions category, Liz Prasad from Commercial Penrith claimed first place, followed by Daniel Krobot of Raine & Horne Commercial Macarthur. However, Mr Krobot turned the tables by winning the Sales GCI category, ahead of Luke Horton of Raine & Horne Commercial Port Macquarie, with Mark Nicholls from Raine & Horne Commercial Canberra securing third place.

In the leasing categories, Mr Horton from Port Macquarie took first place in the Top Commercial Leasing Agent Number of Leasing Transactions category, ahead of Christian Cirillo of Raine & Horne Commercial Parramatta.
