- Innovative digital platform puts historic towns on buyer radars
Amplify, a world first initiative in digital marketing technology has helped put several of Australia’s most historic colonial-era towns on the radars of Sydney buyers according to a leading local real estate expert.
“Since we began using Amplify, which is exclusive to Raine & Horne, six months ago we have been able to promote properties in historical townships such as Webbs Creek, Ebenezer, Wilberforce, and Sackville, which don’t have the same level of familiarity with Sydney buyers as bigger Richmond and Windsor,” said Chas Groom, Co-Principal Raine & Horne.
Developed by CCT, a leader in automated marketing for social media and search, Amplify has reached a massive 32 million Australian eyeballs with more than 4 million consumers viewing properties marketed by the Raine & Horne group over the last year.
“Using artificial intelligence (AI), Amplify is paying dividends for us as we can now target buyers in parts of Sydney that appear to have an interest in buying the bigger properties and old school country feel that townships such as Wilberforce and Ebenezer offer,” Mr Groom said.
“It’s almost ironic that these historic colonial townships that sprung up in the first industrial age are benefiting from the innovations of artificial intelligence, which is the cornerstone of the lastest industrial revolution.”
Mr Groom added, “We have a lot of younger families moving to this region, and we have much affordable housing with median three-bedroom houses selling for about $660,000 in towns such as Webbs Creek, Ebenezer, Wilberforce, and Sackville.”
“We have a massive new $35 million campus of Hurlstone Agricultural College relocating to Richmond, as well as an enormous business park coming to the region too, which will underpin jobs growth in the region.”
The new AI technology is also combining with social media platforms such as Facebook and LinkedIn to attract more traffic to our properties listed on the traditional real estate portals.
“We are finding that many buyers are seeing our properties on the social media platforms thanks to Amplify and are then going to the property portals for more information before making contact with our office,” Mr Groom explained.
“It’s for this reason that I know that Amplify is working for our business. For example, we know that buyers are spending an average of 1 minute 35 seconds every time they click on one of our properties via Amplify. This compares to an industry average of about 9 seconds.”
