- Bunbury real estate firm named WAs best at major industry awards
A leading Bunbury property firm has cemented its mantle as one of WA’s most successful regional property firms by winning Top Office Dollar Value at the Raine & Horne WA State Awards on Saturday night.
The global network named Raine & Horne Bunbury as its number one office, while the firm’s sales ace Susan Pitts scored first place in the Top Salesperson (Dollar Value) and Top Salesperson – Number of Sales categories.
“These sales awards are well deserved as our Bunbury office, which is ably led by Alec Marra, reinvested heavily in the business in 2018, bolstering the look and feel of the office and adopting the latest technology, including Amplify,” said Brian Reid, CEO of Raine & Horne, who hosted the awards event.
Amplify is a world first initiative in artificial intelligence (AI) technology that enabled the entire Raine & Horne global network to promote and sell over 6,500 listings through social media in 2018.
In the Top Office Dollar Value category, the Bunbury firm finished just ahead of Raine & Horne Mandurah, led by principal Peter Vetten and Raine & Horne Rockingham. The Rockingham office headed by Paul Curran turned the tables on its rivals by winning Top Auction Office award. Raine & Horne Mandurah just pipped the Bunbury real estate powerhouse in the Top Office (Number of Sales) category.
Additionally, the Mandurah firm was named Outstanding Property Management Office, while Mr Vetten enjoyed personal glory, winning the Top Salesperson (Principal) – Number of Sales and Top Salesperson (Principal) – Dollar Value. Star agents Ron Barnett and Randolph Watson were among the state’s best salespeople for dollar value and number of sales. Mr Barnett was named Top Performer New Talent Award Salespeople. Agent Eric Hammer finished second behind Bunbury’s Ms Pitt in the number of sales category.
In a night of celebration for the Mandurah office, it won the Product Engagement Amplify award. Mr Reid, said, “With an increasingly challenging market it’s now more important than ever to look at new technologies such as Amplify to help us list and sell real estate and attract buyers to our properties.
“Amplify now forms part of our new digital strategy aimed at defying better results for our network.
“This award is presented to Raine & Horne Mandurah because it has not only adopted but consistently engages with our exclusive digital product Amplify.”
Several commercial property awards were also presented with Raine & Horne Commercial WA winning the Top Commercial Office Dollar Value and Number of Sales categories. The commercial office led by principals Anthony Vulinovich and Terry Menage was also named best for Outstanding Office Marketing Excellence.
