Raine & Horne Commercial brings Auction Event series to Wollongong, showcasing five premium properties

Raine & Horne Commercial, is thrilled to announce a unique auction event this August in Wollongong, one of NSW’s premier regional commercial hubs on the South Coast.

Mr Chris Nicholl, General Manager, Raine & Horne Commercial, said, “The auction in Wollongong marks the first time we have focused our successful Auction Event series on a specific market, Wollongong.

Mr Mathew Ivanoff, Principal of Raine & Horne Commercial Wollongong, noted that in the months leading up to the end of the 2023/24 financial year, the South Coast commercial property markets experienced a surge in activity, as if a switch had been flicked.

“The industrial sector led the way, but retail and office spaces also garnered significant buyer and investor interest,” Mr Ivanoff said.

Local small businesses looking to expand are driving the buying and leasing surge, along with many buyers relocating their businesses from the Campbelltown Basin. “Business owners are moving to the South Coast for lifestyle reasons and are either buying or leasing local properties,” added Mr Ivanoff.

“We are also seeing an increase in investors, which has promoted these five quality properties to go to auction.”

The auction will occur on Thursday, 15 August 2024, at Sage Hotel, Harbour Street Wollongong, starting at 6:00 PM.

  1. 101 Swan Street, Wollongong[ii]

This mixed-use property listed by Ms Lynda Burnside from Raine & Horne Commercial Wollongong features a floor area of 355 sqm and a land area of 701.9 sqm, along with five car spaces.
